Supima® is the trademark for American Pima — an extra-long staple cotton grown on less than 1% of the world's cotton farms. The fibres run ~35mm vs ~26mm in regular cotton. Longer fibres spin into smoother, finer yarn with fewer exposed ends — that's not marketing, that's literally why it feels softer.
